I do love beautiful interiors – even better spending a day in beautiful interiors. It is so inspiring, and slightly worrying when I come back for my better half. Marc has had to listen to many of my thoughts on changing our interiors, stripes, no stripe – maybe wallpaper. Maybe not. Can one be too inspired? Lisa, who runs Studio Cleary, has just got such an inspiring home. I could already see me there, reading all the magazines, and sipping even more wine we may have consumed that day alone.

Lisa and I actually met in our previous life – in financial services. We shared an office together, when I was wondering whether Marc would every propose, and then a pod when we moved to new offices in the City. It might explain the amount of wine we needed to drink whilst we were revisiting the world of finance and meetings, and wondering what life looks like without finance.

Studio Cleary aesthetic is influenced by Scandinavian and modern mid-century design. The studio’s palettes and textures inspired by nature to create depth and warmth. Her outdoor space is just stunning, and making the most of a London garden. I love the messiness and yet structure of it.

I hope to be able to share more home tours – I love meeting the women behind interior designers, and their homes.
