I am always excited when a client calls me, and the first words are in the middle of nowhere and a cabin . We are off to a good start. And, as if she needed to add, Gemma, who runs the Wild at Heart Yoga studio, mentioned she loves Modern Rustic magazine (one of the only magazines I do keep intact). This shoot with Gemma was amazing – a mix of interiors photography, action shots documentary style and even food. Her yoga studio was a delight to shoot, the light, the green, the boho chic rustic interiors. I was not sure what to prioritise – too many beautiful angles to shoot.
Gemma’s yoga studio is situated in the South Cambridge area. She incorporates a variety of traditional practices in movement, breath, and meditation to help each student practice their own unique form of yoga. Her passion is so palpable, in the interiors, the way she interacts with her students – what she wanted to capture during the shoot even.
I love capturing the happiness and connection between the people and hopefully the fun of being together as well. I am booked to shoot another retreat in France, and it is fast becoming my favourite thing to shoot.
If you would like to book me to shoot your yoga studio, or retreats (you can see my other work here), do not hesitate to contact me.
