Definitely, it is essential for us to discuss, make a connection and for you to articulate your vision, and what the pictures are for. It usually means we end up with a realistic and complete shoot list – and devising a list of props and outfits.
Although it depends on the size of the projects (whole house, or one room), I aim to turn around the pictures within a timeframe of a couple of weeks.
You will. I use Pixiset to share galleries, you get to see all the pictures in one go. The download pin enables you to download the pictures either in high-res and web-res.
I am involved in the styling when we first discuss your project, offering advice on props etc. However styling is a separate, and essential part in a shoot. Most of my clients bring their props, and come before me to style the room. I do get involved as we go along, and always on hand to make sure the composition reflects your unique vision of the shoot.
I have shoots booked 8 months ahead, some a week ahead. I depends on location, size of the project, and the light you want to bring. In general, try to make contact a couple of months in advance.
Something comfortable, and that you are happy with.I usually stir away my clients from black, as I feel it soaks up the light. Happy to discuss with you what would work best, against the background we are using.
Each session type is different and I will shoot it differently as well. Typically an interiors shoot is all about finding the right angle, and working with the light. You will get many less pictures than a retreat shoot which is all about recording all the moments that make the event memorable.
